Valentines Day
As a single girl, obviously I think today is overrated. So you know what I am going to do? I'm going to make myself dinner, pig out on chocolate that I bought for myself and watch a slasher film where the only thing red is blood.
I'll be my own valentine because I'm freaking amazing

Farewell, my friend
19 months ago, I flew to my new home of London, checked into a hostel, had a shower and went to bed.
The next day, I got up and headed out to some derelict place in East London to get the keys to my new house. I sat at a computer while I waited next to another girl who was using the computer as well. We were both called to the desk at the same time and we found out that we were actually housemates.
19 months, 5 holidays / trips together and about 12,586 litres of beer and wine later, she’s heading back to the land of plenty and I’m having to farewell one of the best friends I’ve made here.
