the past few months

what have you been up to? me? oh not much...

on halloween i dressed up as little red riding hood and won best dressed. i think i was the only female within eyeshot when giving out the prizes, but who cares?! i got two free teapot cocktails out of it! this tipped me over (tip me over, pour me out!! haha... anyway...) from being drunk to being oh so inhebriated. i kissed a boy and he is the only boy i have kissed since :-)

i went on the pub crawl of all pub crawls. 22 pubs, 4 off licence stops, 1 day, 12km on foot.

OUCH!

i went to all-you-can-eat sushi and ate all i could eat. you kind of had to. they charged you if you left too much un-touched food behind. what kind of rule is that?!

i went to belgium for the weekend and shopped in the christmas markets, ate fries and waffles and went ice skating on in the outdoor ice skating rink. however, i hot-footed it out of there when small children kept falling over in front of me. i dont know whether i was more worried about falling over them, or slicing their face open with my skate in the process.

sadly i said goodbye to two of my favourite people here as they went back to australia. it was an emotional weekend as i also said goodbye to the first house i lived in here that actually felt like home. but i came back a week later to celebrate my second orphan christmas with my other favourite people. we had a christmas pj's slumer party, i made a gingerbread house from scratch, we had eggs benny and champagne for brekky, watched festive / girly movies and stuffed our faces with an awesome roast dinner.

i finished what was one of the best years of my life in edinburgh scotland. we celebrated the australian new years during the day (all the timezones), had a strategic nap / drunken pass out session and headed to the street party where we bought in 2012.

the next day, two of the girls, along with hundreds of other crazy people got dressed up and plunged into the freezing cold sea at queensferry. i said f*ck that sh*t and watched on while snuggly wrapped in their jackets!
